Our DREAM is to build a beautiful community ice center that...
-
welcomes all ice sports
-
encourages recreational and other uses of the ice
-
outreaches to vulnerable and underserved populations
-
offers programs for people of ALL abilities
-
is an affordable recreation choice
-
has the goal to be a model of sustainability and environmental responsibility

We believe that ice-based sports and recreation encourage healthy and active lifestyles. Our planned state-of-the-art ice skating facility will fill a current void in our community by offering year-round ice activities and events in an environment that is inclusive to people of all ages, genders, ethnicities, and abilities.
Our community needs diversity in its activity choices and our future community ice center will offer many different programs. We are excited to bring this wonderful asset to our community!
WE HAVE A PLAN!
VOLUNTEER!
Everyone can do something to help Bring Back Our Ice! It's been too long since our rink was torn down. Now is the time to work together and make it happen. We can do it!
And a whole new generation of skaters will have the opportunity to experience ice sports and recreation. It's a worthwhile project.

OUR VISION TO CREATE A TRUE COMMUNITY ASSET!
Sled Hockey

Our dream, to Bring Back Our Ice, includes reviving the sled hockey team. Known as the Riptide Sled Team, it was formed in 2011 and was the second team in California. In fact, our old rink hosted the first ever Sled Hockey Clinic!
Wheelchair
Curling

We are excited about the sport of curling! We will establish a wheelchair curling team, which is an important part of our plans to outreach deep into our community and make the ice accessible for all.
